I ♥ suprises!

I'm a little late on posting this one...anyway...a couple months ago while eating dinner Jaime had a "proposition" for me. Uh-oh! I was a little worried as to what he was going to say...what did he want now? That guy seems to always "need/want" something. hahaha! Apparently, this time I was completely wrong. He started off by mentioning that our wedding anniversary was coming up in a few weeks and since we didn't really do anything big on our 5 year like we planned (because I was pregnant) he wanted to make it up to me. To my surprise...which I loved...he asked if I wanted to have the diamond in my wedding ring upgraded. WHAT?! Did I hear that right?! Silly guy! Like he needed to ask. hahaha! We talked here and there about having it done someday but I never thought someday would come so soon. I was super excited but at the same time a little hesitant to take him up on his offer. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap and I didn't want him to spend too much. Of course being the great husband he is he said not to worry and that I deserved it for being such a good wifey and mommy. Awww...I love him!!! Since it was a Friday night we went to the jewelry store the following day to look around. I really didn't think I'd find anything so soon, but I did! Unfortunately, we had to come back the next day to pick it up since the jeweler was so busy, but I wasn't complaining. I was just happy to be getting it back so soon. Here is my new...improved...huge...beautiful...sparkling...did I mention HUGE...upgrade! heehee! =)

 

THANK YOU HIME! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I still can't believe it's really mine! Til this day I constantly catch myself looking at it. heehee! The picture doesn't do it any justice...it's so much nicer & bigger in person (not that I wasn't happy with what I already had). I'm such a lucky girl! I ♥ suprises!

Since it was around lunch time when we picked it up we decided to grab a bite to eat across the street at one of our fave sushi restuarants...Taro's by Mikuni's. We had brought Madison's lunch with us so she could eat too but we decided to let her try a little tofu. Here she is trying it for the first time...

As you can probably guessed she loved it! There isn't much that this girl doesn't like...which you can see by her size. Hahaha! We didn't want to give her too much since it was her first time eating it but since then she eats just about anything except dessert! We're saving that for her first birthday even though her auntie's are dying to give it to her now. Anyway, here is one more of me and my lil' sushi date. We had such a great day! I LOVE my little fam!
